These pieces were a lot of fun to create. Last year i did a project on Jackson Pollock, so i was pretty familiar with Splatter Painting Techniques. The blue piece was done first and it was fun to lace the dots in a methodical way around the border. But then after doing so i realized that the negative space actually looked like a Hawaiian flower! so that was cool. The black and rainbow piece was Mrs. Haggerty's favorite. She really loved how i placed the dots on the splatter paint marks instead of around them and how the background color and the dots matched. I really like this piece and i think that it looks almost like sea creatures.
